Benefits
In order to provide students with a thorough and complete musical education, the Conservatory offers educational and performance opportunities for enrichment beyond the weekly lesson
- By prior arrangement with their teachers, Conservatory students may perform in any of the monthly Student Recitals.
- Any student age 8-18 taking private lessons at the Conservatory is entitled to reduced tuition for membership in the "MCM Youth & Children's Chorus", where they receive vocal training and group performance opportunities.
- The Conservatory offers assistance with a music theory course leading to certification by the prestigious Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Conservatory students receive FREE admission to all Conservatory Concert Series performances. All Conservatory student families receive our newsletters announcing upcoming events and other important information.
Financial Aid
When funding allows, the Conservatory grants merit-based scholarships to recognize musical achievement and ability, and need-based scholarships for those who otherwise could not afford musical studies. Applications for all scholarships are available from the Conservatory office.
