Performance opportunities throughout the year!
Vocal training is provided by an experienced choral director from the Monmouth Conservatory, a non-profit music school dedicated to excellence in music education.
During weekly rehearsals, emphasis is placed on vocal training, music theory and the development of musical skills. Acceptance is by audition, but the audition does not require a prepared piece and is limited to voice typing and pitch & rhythm matching. The Chorus performs 2 major programs each year, together with various special events. They also collaborate with area choral and orchestral organizations.
New members are accepted in August/September and January/February. For audition times or other information please call the Conservatory, 732-741-8880.
Strings Orchestra
Playing in a group is an enjoyable experience that increases musical understanding and skill. Our student orchestras perform at Conservatory concerts and recitals, as well as special community events. We offer orchestra groups that rehearse once a week throughout the school year, and small ensembles to qualified players. All enrolled students participating in orchestra receive partial scholarship support.
