We are involved
For almost 40 years, the Monmouth Conservatory has provided quality music education to Red Bank and other communities in Monmouth County. We offer music lessons to people of all ages, and provide on-site after school instrument instruction in the Red Bank Public Schools. We bring faculty concert series, student recitals, Children’s Chorus, and other concerts to the community. The Conservatory Student Strings Orchestra and Chamber Music groups also accept students from outside the Conservatory. Our student musicians have performed at schools, libraries, senior living centers, and other local venues. To request a performance, or to be added to our concert mailing list, please contact us at 732-741-8880.
We are committed
An essential part of the Conservatory’s mission is to promote music as an art form that benefits both the individual and the community. We invite ideas for collaborations and cooperation from other educational and arts groups. Interested organizations may contact Mr. Vladislav Kovalsky, Executive Director, at 732-741-8880.

As a not-for profit school of music, we charge tuition only to cover our expenses, not to make a profit. Tuition is kept as low as possible. We therefore rely on the community we serve to support our educational and artistic mission. Tax-deductible contributions enable us to provide scholarships and concert series that help extend our outreach to a broader community.
Support for the Conservatory may be earmarked to one of the following categories, if desired:
- Conservatory General Fund
Supports all our activities, to be applied where need is greatest. - The Eleanor Kahn Memorial Scholarship Fund
established by her family in memory of Mrs. Kahn's love of music. - The Frank & Lydia Bergen Scholarship Fund
which funds merit and need-based scholarships for promising students. Bergen Scholarship awards are for private music lessons at the Conservatory, and Orchestra and Chamber group participation. - Felix Molzer Scholarship Fund Memorial
In honor of the Conservatory’s founder and Director Emeritus. Funding goes toward both need-based and merit-based scholarships. Both are essential to the Conservatory’s mission to provide excellence in music education to the broadest possible community. - Conservatory & Chamber Music Steinway “D” Fund
An excellent Conservatory needs an excellent piano, and this pre-owned Steinway “D” is now being put to excellent use for Conservatory student and faculty recitals. Through our collaboration with the Red Bank Chamber Music Society, this fine instrument is also used for their concert series. All of these events are open to the public free of charge. With the help of generous donors in the community, we have begun paying for this piano, but more and ongoing support is needed. What price, after all, to put on the look on a child’s face when performing his/her first recital on a concert grand?
Donations of any size are always welcome and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Checks may be made payable to the Monmouth Conservatory. Our address is 50 White Street, Red Bank, NJ 07701. We welcome inquiries and can be reached at 732-741-8880.
